Hey Gents,
Bought a new ( zero hour) 2009 stingray 180rx with the 3.0 liter carbe'd Volvo Penta engine. Great engine and boat but I am having one issue.
The idle speed is about 900-1K RPM's in forward gear according to the tach. I know this is fast and it needs to be adjusted down. Is this something easy that a weekend DIY mechanic like myself can do or, should I bring it back to the dealer?
I don't have much experience with carb's but, the dealer is a good 40+ miles away, just trying to save some time.
Thanks!
