Mercury 135 no beep at start up and startup issue[/h]
    Hi all
    I have a 2010 mercury optimax 135 hp serial # 1b77588
    Model number 1135d83hy

On my last trip I started having a issue that started as I was heading out
I went to trim the motor whilst sitting on approx 3500 to 4000 rpm the motor instantly bogged down and a alarm sounded but the second I took my finger off the trim the motor began to run normal and alarm went away I didn't touch my trim until later as you will read later in this post

After I arrived to my fishing spot I switched motor of then when leaving I went to start my motor and had nothing there was no beep and motor didn't crank at all after a few attempts at turning the key it finally cranked and started this happened a few times note the battery is brand new and has 830cca

Whilst coming back in to port twice the motor bogged down then run fine
When I got back to the ramp I went to use the trim whilst in neutral to see if anything would happen

A soon as I used the trim the motor revved really hard and reving until I put it into gear and would remain normal from there until loaded boat to trailer

I still have no beep on turn of the key.
    I have checked battery terminals

    Any help is appreciated
    Thanks david

Also make sure this passage is clear, the hose not the sender. The sensor sends a signal to the PCM telling it low water pressure. This can fail if your in hard water. I would highly recommend installing a water psi gauge. The PCM is way dumber than you!! This sensor can be bypassed if you understand how it works.
