Sure would appreciate some help, Received a new Rectifier/regulator 6D8-81960-10-00 and it's got pigtail leads. The one on the engine has a connector directly attached to the assembly additionally they have different numbers on the side of each of them. Old one Numbers 6D3-00 SH678QA the new one SH678WC.
What has Yamaha done?
Is there a know issue with these parts?
Anyone have a Tech Bulliten they can post or shoot my way?
Greatly appreciate the help here
Update
The Rectifier / Regulator burns up often and took the entire wiring harness with it costing $400 or more in additional parts - Yamaha should fix the poor regulator not simply patch the problem as they did by moving the connector away from the high heat prone to failure regulator assembly
