I have a 2012 single cyl F6LMHA 4 stroke that runs for a short bit and dies. The Yamah service manual that I have does not give test specs for the CID coil on the motor. So I have no resistance numbers or DVA peak voltage number to test the coil out. Does anyone have a set of numbers for this motor? The only numers or tests I see in the manual are for the spark advance and a spark gap distance tester. Which are more about seeing if that system is working. I will be testing that tonight. I dug up a timing light and have a gap tester. It would be nice to have some resistance numbers and DVA peak voltage numbers to test it with. BTW I have already done the aux and onboard fuel tank, fuel line, fuel pump and carburetor and it pumps water. Also the thermostat works. I would like to test the CDI coil before ordering a $300 part. Thanks for looking.
