I have the above boat. Excellent condition,
When idle, if steering is turned full left or right, I get a chattering sound from the outdrive...or it seems that way. If going forward at "no wake" speed..and turning slightly, it is pretty noisy with the same chatter, some groan sounds. Boat runs great at speed. Seems to be getting louder over the last few weeks. Also it seems the steering is not as responsive at "no wake" speed. Maybe some "play" in the wheel.
Been checking the forums and I see a lot of Gimble, U-joint talk. Had these done abut 80 hours ago. Does anything else stand out as the potential problem?
