Two weeks ago we took our 2013 22 Foot Pontoon boat with 75 hours out for the first time in awhile, Yes, don't use it much. When I opened it up this time every so often I got a miss or blip at 4500 to 5000 rpm. So I just slowed down and knew something was not right. Most of our use is just going slow around the lake. Since I knew the gas was old I added 5 gallons of new fuel and a can of Seafoam It still missed a couple of days later. In reading info on the web it said that it may be water in my fuel/water separator so I changed the 10 Micron filter. Same problem. I then found that there was another filter on the motor and changed that. I also saw the Seafoam video on cleaning your fuel system and injectors. So I followed that with the 1 can and a less than a gallon of fresh fuel in a separate can (Oh and I have only been using Ethanol free fuel) did the warmup, 15 min running and the hot soak. Then started it up and got all of that black smoke. Took it out on the lake and opened it up again. It is now missing more, at lower rpms and is running worse. I am thinking that some stuff is now loose and I should just run it more until it clears up. I am planning on pulling the plugs and cleaning them then maybe replace them. Any other ideas?
