2014 200 Verado power loss.

I have this engine on a lund 1900 tyee. 1st 5 years was solid performance. 6k rpm did 50 to 52 depending on water conditions. This year something has changed. 5200 rpm and top speed of 42 mph. I changed out the fuel filters but that is it. Im thinking maybe switching out plugs as there was moisture in the collector. Should i be looking in a different direction? Maybe electrical?

Hi. Apart from the usual bad fuel, normal filter and plugs etc. I think these, like mine, have a cleanable filter on the fuel rail that needs cleaned every 300 hours or so. Could be that perhaps.

I recently lost a bit of performance and rpm on my engine. It was caused by the exhaust seal blow out plastic ring coming loose behind the prop. Caused a little exhaust over the prop.
