With Fall approaching, I am in the process of getting things together for the maintenance and other work on my boat before winter. One of my projects is to add a fuel/water separator.
Does anyone happen to know what size fuel line is going through the front cowling to the low pressure fuel filter? I verified that it is 5/16" at the filter itself, but I can't see the entire length, to see if it changed over somewhere.
I bought a section of 5/16" marine fuel line but the outer diameter is larger than what is currently there and probably will not pass through the hole in the cowling.
Sorry, but the boat is currently on the water and an hour away so I can't really run down and check. When I look this section of hose up (15191-88L20) it doesn't give any description and it's $45 for a 12" section of hose.(?)
