Ive found a 91 bayliner 2072 cuddy that had the 120 L-Drive originally. The hull has been converted to accept an inboard with leg. The boat has been sitting in a friends backyard for about 3 years with no interior or motor. I really like the style of the boat and am considering restoring it. Has anyone done this type of conversion? Is it worth it? What is the hull and trailer worth? What does a resto cost? I will try to get some pics of it tomorrow.

Ayuh,...
#1,... Nope...
#2,... Whatever the Trailer is worth...
#3,... About 3 Times the value you have when you're Done...

I think another iboats member tried this conversion before and after a lot of work ended up giving up on it. I would stay away from that project. Lots of boats out there with a more common drivetrain that are more worthy of your love.

Shop around, There's lots of deals out there and a ton of bayliner projects to be had without the grief of the L drive.
