20HP Mercury Short Shaft Conversion

Hello, I have a 20hp Mercury longshaft that I want to convert to a short shaft on my 8ft X-Celerator boat. I had thought about extending the transom but after some calculations and a few tests I determinded that the force would be tremendous and have determined that a shortshaft conversion would be best suited. Any suggestions on where I could get one and as cheap as possible? Thanks!

I believe, it will be very pricey to convert to a short shaft.
