20hp Sea King/Chrysler

Last time I ran my 20hp Sea King(coupla years ago) I believe the gears in my lower unit broke a few teeth. The prop just spins intermittently. Would this be an easy home repair? I have some mechanical talent.

With the help of a service manual it looks pretty straight forward.New parts may be hard to find.You may want to find a good gearcase on eBay or somewhere.
It may share gearcases with the 25.Someone no doubt will be along with more specific info.
