Sold it today to a Canadian buyer. He will pick it up next week early. Thank you all for the advise and help the last two years. Last of my tin Boats but will stay with the course never know when something will come along. Promised me a fish trip as a bonus someday. Ed Pugetsound

I'm happy and sad for you. Ed.:( Happy you sold her and will get a last fishing trip on her. Sad because you're out of the Tinny ranks. But that doesn't mean you have to go. You still know a lot about these Tinnies.

Re: 22 Holiday Starcraft

I could just about take a long trip for one of those Reasonable priced smaller Tin boats ( cheap ). Have good friends in Indiana. Will see how long I go without a boat of sorts and if I do buy one again it will be Aluminum should ahave kept the 16 SS I restored last year. You have all been great and really nice to have some critisisim (SP) when needed . Evrey one needs help and your honesty is great. Ed

Good news Ed...I think. I hate to see her leave the country, but I'm sure she will be well treated. Keep in touch! - Erin

You did Bill but you know how it is to sell something and sit empty handed till the deal is done Buyer had his Dad come today and pay and took delivery. I did add a New Batt and A Auto bielge pump. after the sale. I had several people say its sold then never hear from them. Ill see you sometime this Summer. I'll look forward to that. ED

Re: 22 Holiday Starcraft

Hey Ed I feel your pain in a way, I sold my 22 foot islander last September because the gas was killing me for a days fishing.
figured I could do better by building my own, a 20 foot semi dory powered by a 25 hp high thrust 4 stroke , I figure 16-18 knots at a gallon an hour maybe.

Gnarly ---- Long time no hear from you. It was difficult, but only using the 22 for a trip a year, and ageing of myself ,it was necessary. I know you will miss the 22 of yours except the fuel consumption. WOW Looks like you are now in the boat building Business. Thats a big project and haveing the knowledge is a must. Keep me posted as It will be a real interesting year for you. I have a 16 ft Fiberform that Im putting a ( Works for me Floor ) into and a little cosmetic work and that will be my boat. Quick and fast is what I like and will be easy to get in and out or the water. I would love to have back my rebuilt 16 Starcraft S/S that I rebuilt last year but Taxes on the homestead prevail. Guys gotta do whats necessary. My 22 Holiday went to The West side of Vancouver Island . At least you Canadians know the value of a good boat.
