I just back from 12 days of pure excellence in Eagle River, WI. The boat, 120 hp white leg, performed flawlessly. I even had to tow a glasser  with a nearly new Volvo drive back to his pier because it just "died." It was an injected motor so I was of little help other than being a tow service. Anyways, my boat is sooooooo slowwwwwww. Unloaded with 2 adults nets 28 gps mph. 2 adults with fishing gear is like molasses! I towed a tube with my 120 lb son on the tube and it was doable but little else. I'm thinking a 115 outboard would make a world of difference. I'm open to suggestions. I'd love a four stroke but that's just not in the picture. I'm leaning towards a yamaha outboard in the 115-175 range. I'm really not looking for an i/o set up unless you can really sell me on it, but you better be good! The deck space I can pick up with an o/b and bracket will be tremendous. I realize my fuel costs will go up, but I really don't travel far with the boat where that will be an issue. I used 12 gallons for the 12 days I was up there with the current set-up. The 80lb minn-kota gets most of the use since the boat is mainly used for fishing. Oh, by the way there was a green mariner up there in the 20' range. Are you from the site???
