Re: 22' Morgan sailboat

Morgans are fine boats. the trailer looks homemade, or atleast home adapted. plan on sand blasting the trailer, and repainting, and proper set up for the boat. drive slowly takeing it home. i would check the bearing as soon as you can get it out of the field. i just pick up one in a place like that in Orlando. Burried the Suv to the axle trying to get it out. had to find a big 4 wheel drive 1 ton to pull me out, and he went back and go the boat.

It looked as if the keel was sitting directly on a trailer support, could this be bad for the boat you think (I noticed there were a few chips in the bottom of the keel)? I would have to trailer the boat back to my house which is about 40min away if I go 45 on the highway, im just worried it wont hold up, or damage the boat alot more.
