225 rude cylinder looks funny

pulled the plugs today to take a look<br />before a long offshore trip!<br />all the plugs were regapped and in good shape!<br />took a flashlight looked into each plug hole<br />to check the tops of the the cylinders<br />they all looked good! with just a little black carbon except the top port side piston had a brown oily wet goo attached to the top of the piston!??????? Is this water intrution???<br />mixing with the 2 stroke oil to make the color brown!?? should I panic!? Motor seems to be running ok last trip!<br /><br /> Thanks Bogart.

Me thinks it is time for a decarb followed by a compression check possibly followed by a carb rebuild for the one that cylinder.<br /><br />I assume that you know that your motor is the same as any other V6. The SeaDrive set-up does not come into play on this.

15 hours on carb rebuild! did they miss somthing<br />decarbed *** well!!<br /><br /> Bogart.
