I recently changed out my plugs from RV15YC4 to RV8C. I don't know where I got the part number for the 15s originally but the engine ran perfect and those 15s burned perfect.Manual says 8s. The engine runs perfect with the 8s but does not come up to temp even after a long run.Could this be the cause or should I start looking at my gage or a stat possibly stuck partway open?New points, timing and dwell right on. Ser 6681735.Thanks-B

I would look at both the T-stat and the gauge/sender.

simple, put ohm meter across the gauge sender to ground, read resistance. then get an infared thermostat, point it at t-sender on the intake, read what it says, compare to the gauge. either your gauge is close, or its way off (dash gauges are not accurate).
