23ft bow rider wnats place on NC coast to enjoy boating. Suggestions?

I live in the triangle and can't seem to find any info on good places to boat on the coast. Anyone here boat on the NC coast?

I fish out of holdens beach and lockwood folly in let.Pretty nice waterways ,inlet dredged last year!!Several marinas.

I know people who like the Murrels inlet area..<br />Never tried it myself but plan on it soon.

I live on the NC coast and think there are a very many places to boat along the coast from Swansboro to Wilmington. <br /><br />The major areas are generally near the inlets ... Neuse River, New River and the Cape Fear River. Each gives you a river, the ICW or the Ocean ... take your pick.<br /><br />From Sneads Ferry, I can be on any of the three in less than ten minutes.<br /><br />Murrel's Inlet is, I thought, in SC near Myrtle Beach.

ICW = Intercoastal Waterway....usually smooth to travel but it's for commerce so you could meet up with some tugs and barges, oil company crew boats, shrimp boats, or such.<br /><br />Mark

Your right Pogo,That is in SC. I wasn't thinking..i got a buddy who fishes down there alot.
