Hello All;
Havn't been active in here in some time but as a retired boatworker a young fella around here wants me to do some up-grades on his 1989...24.55 Bayliner Sunbrige Cierra

Aside from some rather minor gel-coat repairs (are the ever easy?)

His main concern is wanting completely new seating cushions and captains chair in the cockpit

My question is do you think Bayliner could supply this stuff after all these years and if not i wonder who could do a "bolt in" reasonable facsmilie of the original factory upholstry

The other thing on his mind is a small 3 way frige to replace the icebox..........are there any straight bolt in models for Cierras out here?

So just to repeat myself does anyone have a way to contact "support" at Bayliner, when i do a search all the sites just want to sell me a boat ;)

Thanks

Re: 24.55 Bayliner Sunbrige help needed

On my last boat, a 1988 Bayliner 2655, I took out the 15 year old upholstery, which was still in good shape but horribly out of style. I took it to a marine upholsterer and this was the result:

However, since then I found out about Leta's Top Shop in Arlington WA. www.letastopshop.com
Leta has all the Bayliner factory patterns for biminis, camper tops and seat skins. Bayliner (nor any other builder) does not keep such items in stock.

Bayliner customer service:
http://p076.ezboard.com/fbocwebfrm39.showMessage?topicID=20.topic

Hard to get Bayliner parts:
http://p076.ezboard.com/fbocwebfrm11.showMessage?topicID=679.topic

Check out Bayliner Owner's Club for all this info and more:
www.baylinerownersclub.org click on "Forums".
