24 gallon fuel tank - need assistance with wiring

the wire that hooks up to the guage - the guage has two terminals - one for ignition and the other I'm not sure.<br /><br />The gas tank has two wire lugs - one is in the middle with an insulator - the other is on the side.<br /><br />What wire hooks to the guage and what wire runs to the battery?<br /><br />I have not been able to get the fuel guage to register.

ok i will take a stab at this, the wire on the gauge marked ign goes to the key switch so it is hot with the key on. the other will go to the center lug on the tank. the lug on the side of the tank will go to a engine ground or the negative side of the battery
