24 volt trolling motor question

I need to know if you must use a fuse when wiring a 24 volt only motor. I seem to think you should, but can't find anything about using a fuse in the manual. It is wired with #8 wire and if I need a fuse, where would I find a inline the heavy? and what amp should it be?

A 50 amp circut breaker..<br />

<br /><br />Check the marine megamall at the top of the screen.. go to Trolling motors > electric > page 4, about half way down, is where you'll find the breaker..
