24 year old card floats

Hello l have a Yamaha 150 pro-v qesttion when do you change the carb floats. The boat is 24 years old

And the carb float are that black looking plastic. I tested the carb floats in water no bubbles is it Time to change?:facepalm:

Are you referring to the carb floats?...if so, why do you have them out and why would you change them? :confused:

Unless there is a hole in them or damaged i wold't touch them for another 24 years.

O sorry i forgot you have the leaky carb ok now 1st you check the shut off needle for any damage same for the seat if everything checks out ok then you adjust the float by the book.Ps starting 3 thread on the same problem that does not help you.

If the float is good you do not have to change it. if there is damage on the shot off needle or the seat that is what you have to fix. or you might just have to adjust the float
