i herd they were coming out with a 25 hp Evinrude ETEC.

anyone know anyting about this?

Scuttlebutt at Miami (from BRP dork) was that there were some issues regarding pricing. IE They weren't sure they could sell enough of them due to the high projected cost. So, some other issues of the technical type(he said minor ones) were not being pursued all that quickly....IE They think the thing was going to cost too much so they were not spending a lot effort to produce one. That was in February though and anything could have changed by now.

Talk to your dealer. The factory introduced the 25-30hp E-TECs at their dealer meetings this month.

Seahorse,

Any specs out on the engine yet? We heard it's a 2 cylinder with a base weight of 163 for a manual short.
