Anyone use/have used a outboard jet drive? What the pros and cons?

Cons

Loud
Terrible mileage
30%+ loss in HP
Very load sensitive
Can plug with rocks, sand or weeds.


Pros

Very simple design
Low maintenance
Can run in shallow water.
Safer due to no prop.

If you don?t run in shallow water there is no need for one.
