25 HP Johnson 1975

looks like I'm taking on water in the lower unit. I put some ear muffs(square, works great when you take off the little slow speed inlet) on it yesterday. After that, I checked again and oil looks good. I read somewhere that I can take the lower unit off without dropping the lower unit. ie turn upside down and take off bolts. Is this true? Could I change prop seals like that?

I'dont know the awnser to youre question.
I'v got the same engine.
what kind of spark plugs do you use or should i use mine break down very often, use chamion 833 j6c.

i have all the original paperwork and parts list. But they are all at work. I can post on monday. I also have an original repair guide. My motor is a Seahorse.
