25 to 35 1993 evinrude

Would like to put a 35 carb on my 25.it is a 1993.would i need to change any thing else? Any one know where I could find one

Are you sure it is just a carb change?
I would suspect it could be some other air intake changes also like a different head, intake port or such.

I have no idea.looked at parts list looks like same motor to me besides carbs.

Should not be a problem to swap carbs. Just make sure that the opening in the intake is at least as large as the opening in the back of the 35hp carb. If not, you'll need to open it up (take it off the motor to do this) or replace it with a 35 hp manifold. I love this about these motors...nothing different except carbs and sometimes manifolds.

I bought a waterpump and thermostate from crowleymarine. They list a new carb at about $240. Also from what I recall about these motors the 20/25/30 hp use the same motor/lower unit. I looked at the 25 vs. 30 and they have different carb's and intake ($110).
I am looking into getting a 25hp 1995 if they guy will sell it to me. Looks brand new expect for cosmetic scratches, stored indoors, only ran for probably 20-30 hrs.
