250 9.9hp sailor

Hi all,

Have one of these for my sailboat, not got it running yet.

Boat has full remote kit installed.

Tiller handle is empty, so no on motor control.

Things all look good, guess I have no where to go but hang it off the transom of the boat and try it OR I guess remove the controls and then do it at home.

Chrysler outboards are hard to find anyone to work on here.. anyone recomend a good souces for info and parts? is ChryslerCrew outboard guy good?

Franz at The Chrysler Crew (franzmarine@aol.com) knows his stuff--he probably forgot more than I will ever know. He tends to be a little expensive, but generally will have what you need.

You can talk to him any Thursday night at the chat room at 9PM Eastern time.

ok, yes I have chatted with him once, seems good.

I got mine running, just need to adjust throttle and then make sure it goes into gear ok, its idling a bit high at the moment, and dont like the crunch clunk I get when trying to shift..
