I have twin 2003 250 efi merc 2 strokes. My stbd motor runs great. The port motor runs great to about 4600 rpms, from 4600 to WOT the rpms drop to about 3000 rpms. I can back off throttles and give it gas again, and it will run fine till it gets to about that 4600 mark, and sometimes it will go to 5300 rpms and drop off again and i cant get it past 5300, the motor should spin to about 57-5800. I replaced my fuel/water seperators, replaced spark plugs, all the plugs had a good greyish brown color to them like they normally do.Compression is good in all cylinders. And the smartcraft is not showing any alarms. What next? Thanks for all replies.
