250 OX Diagnostic Lamp

Ordered the diagnostic lamp for a 2001 250 OX66 , the lamp I recieved was PN YB-06795. When I checked the service manual, the lamp illustration was different than the one I recieved. The service manual shows a lamp with 3 connections, the one I recieved has a fourth plug which is light grey in color and has a cap connected to the end with a small piece of fishing line. I have seen these same grey connectors on the HPDI motors for the software hookup. Is this the right lamp for my motor and also which plugs do I need to connect to. There are two plugs underneath the engine oil tank that will fit the lamp.

I thought it might come in handy while trying to fix the backfiring, but now that that's fixed(loose spark plug wire), just wanted to see if any error codes had been stored.

the new diagnostic test lamp will access codes on all EFI 4 stroke,HPDI and ox 66 EFI as well as V76 motors.
for efi 4 stroke use the gray connector for all 2 stroke compatible models you still use the blue wire and the engine oil tank switch connector.
