250 SE Air conditioning

I have a 2000 250SE and am looking at adding A/C. Was wondering if anyone has done this to find out where you placed unit, ran lines, etc.

From memory I recall there is no place to put the unit. You could look at the portable ones that sit on top of the front hatch tho.

Contact me at kemmett4@gmail.com. I placed a system with heat and air in my Doral 250 sc with the aft cutty. The boat has 250 cc decals but if you have an aft cutty then the panel on the port side is removed and a shelf can be built.

I have a 2001 250SE with factory 5000 btu A/C-heat.
It fits in the aft cabin inside the right hand cabinet.

250SE and 250CC diference is basically the radar arch.
The cabin layout is the same, so what you see in the pictures, is applicable to your boat too.
Mine is factory fitted 5000 btu.
Works like a charm at the HOT Greek summer (37 celcius today and cabin was at 25 all day at the marina.....)
