Im looking for a ball park figure on what a couple of 2001 250 efi yamahaswould be worth. they have about 400 hours, all guages ,wiring, oil tanks, Two yamaha dealers that I have talk to stated they were not worth alot of money due to there age and what they burn for fuel

if you go to www.nadaguides.com there is a section for used outboards. I'm not sure how accurate this publication is though.

if they are the SX250TXRZ models, they go for roughly 6290 each.

Another good place to look is www.bucvalu.com. BUCValu Pro really focuses on the marine industry. These prices may be more accurate. Your local library may have these publishing as well to use for free.

I just bought a apir of 1999 250 OX66 EFI's a couple of months ago, for $8,000. These motors are identical to the 2001's and also had about 350 hours on them. This also included 2 sets of Yamaha Saltwater Series stainless steel props (props retail for over $500 each) , 2 digital tachs, complete fuel management system, digital speedo, 2 oil tanks, dual binacle throttle control, All wiring harnesses.
