Timing belt broke when I turned engine over 1st time this year. Discovered the tension pulley was frozen. Purchased Manual, installed new pulley. Manual explains very well how to install new belt and how to line up notches on belt pulleys to frame but I cannot seem to see any notches on pulleys.( I am assuming because of the rust that has accumulated). I have cleaned them up as best as I can but still cannot see any notches in the wheels. Is there anything else I can do to get things back to top dead center without these marks?
