250hp Ox66 Oil Rod Adjustment

Rodbolt and Ray: Can you please tell me the proper adjustment for the oil pump on a 2001 250hp Ox66?<br /><br />Should that arm be touching the stop at Idle? Otherwise, what should be the gap?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />John

hello<br /> dissconnect the throttle link from the lower throttles. leave the oil pump link attached to the lower shaft. adjust the link at the pump till there is about .02" between the stopper and the arm. as long as its somewhere between .005 and .o2 with the throttle plates closed fully on the shaft that drives the link its fine.
