25hp 2-stroke serial number

The serial number plate on swivel bracket is unreadable.
The number on the aluminium plug is C280470. Below that number is the following design.

Is this a 1990 model year and can anybody tell me what model it is in particular?

So much for the picture. Not sure what I am doing wrong but it the desighn lools like the letter M
