i have the stock prop for my 2003 johnson 25hp. its in decent condition now and i was wondering if changing the prop would get me any better performance. i have a 1988 14' lund

We'll need to know your present performance max rpm and speed. and prop size.
(on the barrel or under the prop nut)A Tinytach is about $47 and easy to install,
a GPS for speed. Is it a tiller motor?
Is the boat a full sized 14? (usually a little over 14)nice and wide.
Raise the motor to a point you can see the antivent plate (just above the prop) at speed.In the extreme this could net 2 to 3 mph.Be sure the throttle opens all the way.Well tuned. Carefully adjust trim
