Hello to all.I have found a dealer that has over 50 25hp merc sea pro's,also i found a guy that has a few of the standard 25hp mercs.I guess the standard usa model has the built in handle for shifting and the sea pro is made by tohatsu with the shifter on the side of the motor and i guess is considered a commercial model from canada.Or i guess both could be made by tohatsu.
I was just wondering what the difference was between the 2.Also the price is a little different, the sea pro is $2600 and the reg merc is $2885.The sea pro comes straight from a box and the other mercs are from repo's that just came out of the box but have had no gas or oil in them.
From what i have heard the sea pro is a way better model, but i would like to know if anyone has owned that model and how good it is.Also is there a difference between the cc's of the motor? All i have heard is that the sea pro has more stainless steel hardware compared to the usa model, but i havn't heard anything else bad or good between the both of them.
Well i hope someone can help me on this thread. Thanks for any info.
