Hi. Just purchased a Yamaha F25 due to Hp restrictions on most of the local lakes. I have tilt and trim.

Just finished the break in period and took it out with the family.

By myself - 5200 rpms 23 mph gps. Estimated weight 1250 lbs

Fully loaded with an extra 550 lbs 12 mph tops 4200 rpm

Stock prop is 9 7/8 X 11 1/4 F

Boat is a 16’ Sea Nymph fishing machine. Motor is within an inch of being lined up with bag plate/bottom.

Would like to get better performance and do not mind getting 2 props. One for a heavy load and one for a bit more speed or at least getting to the top of the rpm range

Wife would like to occasionally pull a tube as well. I know it’s a lot to ask but….

Thank you

Rick

I think you need more hp, but only thing to do is go to a 10 or 9 pitch prop. Most likely a 9P, but still don't think it will do much with a tube.
