I am the proud owner of a 2003, 2601 walkaround cuddy Seaswril Striper.
I love the boat and ordered it new. This last weekend I was fishing offshore
and was using an anchor ball to pull up the hook. When I reached the end of
the line the bow of my boat dipped forward and the bow roller popped and pulled through the pulpit and caused extreme damage. The underside
mounting was the same width as the roller bracket and pulled through
the fiberglass. Upon further inspection I noticed the roller was not reinforced
and sandwiched between the layers of glass only. (the upper cap)
It seems this is a under engineered design. The Factory People tell me this is the only failure of this kind in their records.
I look forward to any responses reguarding this problem
Thanks
