Ok I have decided to re-power my searay. I have a couple quick questions,1. should the new thermostat be a 160* or a 142* I have seen both in mercruisers before? 2.Which exhaust manifolds are better against saltwater corrosion GLM (aluminum) or OSCO (cast iron)? Thanks guys, Brian.

Raw water cooled? The 160 should be fine and the GLM cast iron are better than the Osco cast iron. If you boat in salt water I would stay away from the aluminum.
