Hi there,
I am brand new to the forum, and starting to research small cruisers to possibly buy my first boat of this type. I am considering the 274. Can any owner tell me how much space there is for sleeping in the v-berth? I am about 6'-3", and wondering if it will be possible for my wife and I to sleep confortably there (she is about 5'-8"...we are both *fairly* slim ;)). We plan to have our 3 and 5 year old daughters in the mid-berth.

Any other thoughts or ideas are welcome!

Thank you,
Brian

Re: 274 Cabrio V-berth Question

I actually purchased the 274 (a 2007) for the same reason. I am 6 foot and we have two children. The Cabrio had good head room and I can sleep in the v berth! I would certainly suggest lying down in the v berth before buying but I would look at the 274.

Re: 274 Cabrio V-berth Question

Thank you for the reply. We checked out a 274 last fall and really liked it. Our search turned up another boat which ultimately purchased. The ice is gone now so we are looking forward to getting out on the water!

Enjoy your new boat!
