Hello,<br />I have a 28 or 29 default code appears to my Yamaha F200 EFI tach.<br />Somebody knows what it means?<br />Thanks

never seem a tach from yamaha that displays codes. it may be the tach is failing.<br /> a code 28 on the diagnostics indicates a shift position switch and code 29 indicates a intake air pressure sensor.

no I dont think so. a stuck intake will cause a compression loss but that part of the mechanicals are not monitored by the computer.
