Ok guys...I'm a bit frustrated with this new prop. I purchased a Solas amita eplus 3 blade aluminum in a 15.3" diameter 19pitch left hand rotation. ( i was being cheap
) This is the specs on the original volvo penta prop. As I installed the new prop, I immediatly noticed that the blades are MUCH smaller in area and shaped quite differently. However, the diameter and pitch were the same. I was concerned about the smaller blades and my concern became reality on the lake this weekend. I don't have near the pick up as the original. With 6 people aboard, the boat struggled to get up on plane.
I'm thinking I just need to order the OEM prop and keep this as a spare.
Any suggestions?
