Hello, the shower on my 1984 Riviera is soaking the salon carpet and draining into the forward bilge (with the shower pump turned on :) Nothing's flowing from the shower pump thru-hull, but after checking the Carver manual I couldn't find any info about strainers, servicing the shower pump, etc.

Does the Riviera have a shower pump strainer, or does the drain in the shower stall "pop out" for cleaning?

Thanks for any help and advice,
-joe

Same thing happened on my 26' carver, the pump would run but not pump. I used a hose w/ a spay nossle to try to unclog, after disconnecting line from the pump, but that wasnt the prob the pump was bad

I have the same problem in my Carver 3227! I blew out the drain hose and rebuilt the pump and I am still not pumping out.

Guess I will have to buy a new pump and try that. The system seems pretty straight forward so, if the lines are clear it must be the pump.

Best,
Scot
