I have an old 2 hp (I think) Johnson. I need to know the year of mfgr. The model # is 2R71A...serial # is E3354816. Thanks for your help.

It's a 1971, Johnson's in that era used the last numbers for the year.

Thank you.......Any idea what this motor would be worth? I may sell it. It's in nice shape.

Value is determined by what a "willing" seller will accept from a "willing" buyer. As a willing buyer, I'm prepared to offer you 10.00 USD sight unseen. Now, are you a willing seller? If not, it's worth more than 10.00 USD. To me it's overpriced. To you it's under offered. Any more bids?
