ok so i have been doing alot of looking around and my head is killing me
now i know i have a starting battery that is good but the reserve is crap so i want a deep cycle for my 2nd one the only issue is that all the 200ish reserve hour ones are 1.5 times the size of my starting one and as you can see the best place for me to put my snd one is right beside my 1st one for ease of install and what not
if i get one of these bigger batteries will there be any noticeable listing to the driver side? as you can see i can spread out the weight and put it on the other side but the cabling alone will make it cost quite a bit extra
i also have a new switch it is made by guest and the only issue i see with hooking it up is that it has a alternator field interupt switch
is this something i have to hook up it says it is "supposed to prevent electrical surges in the armature circuit which might burn out the alternator diodes or ancillary equipment" i just have no idea what that means and what i should do about it
and 1 last thing can i use an automotive grade 0/2awg cables to hook this all up or do i need a special marine type cable
