OK most of you already read about me pulling my boat in after i had the darn thing in gear while trying to start it, OK so this is our 2nd successful time out. SO I'm going to keep it at the morring, I go and hook the boat up, I'm laying on the bow trying to rope the line thru the winch eye (or what ever you call it). SO I'm thinking oh great I can see myself falling in. I don't which is great so my daughter is in the dinghy(she's 13), everything is allset. and I'm just finishing snapping down the cover, I jump in and figure the last few I'll get from the dinghy we start to float away and since I have a few more snap to snap on for the morring cover, I'm streatching and streatching trying to get a pc of the boat and then it happens, The boat flipps. Me and my daughter right in the water, we go under and first thing I do is grab her and try to asure her everything is ok she is panicing bad right now, We tread water for about 10 sec. and get back to the boat, the oars, life jackets, her flip flopps, are floating all over the place.
I make sure she is set and off to retreive our gear, I get the jackets (which we should of been wearing in the first place) throw them to her, Get one oar, but where is the other, Right their she says, ok I get both, now how am I going to get the boat right side up, Luckly it's only a 6', I grab one side and while holding the swim platform, push up, I don't know how but it flipped right over, We put on our life jackets, get everything all set and off we go, I could of been alot worse, again we can look back and laugh at it, hopefully the learning curve is almost over
