3.0, 4 cyl, Mercruiser Pricing?

Anybody have any idea how much a 3.0 , 4 cyl Mericruiser block is going to run me?

i suppose that depends on where you buy it from. My suggestion is to watch your local 'for sale' ads, in boating forums such as this, and others like craigslist. Something will pop up over the winter. I bought a 2007 3.0l, complete for $200. Low hours, but had a blown head gasket. The guy was told it would cost the same to buy a 4.3 than to rebuild the 3.0, so he bought the 4.3.

You looking for just the bare block? If so good luck, you will prob end up buying a whole used engine. 'nutcase
