Well i droped my merc 3.0 back in my bayliner today. Out drive still off thought. Not to bad really had a couple of scares. I got it all hooked up and put the battery back in turned the key and had lights so i thought i was good. I wanted to check to see if it would still start so i duck taped the garden hose to the inlet water hose. Yeah red green rocks. Turned the water, pumped the throttle turned the key nothing 
. back to the engine check it over i know i hooked every thing up. Oh duh i forgot to disengage the prop:redface:. Ok try it again, click pop nothing lost lights and every thing. Check all the fuses good, check over engine good. Well i better check the battery that neg cable was pretty rusty. Yep blew that neg cable right off the battery. O'riley's new terminal. Ok now it has to start. Yep sure did and ran like a kitten too.
So now i just have to wait till tuesday or wensday for my out drive service kit to get here. Then i can get back out on the water and see if all my work keeps out the water.
