3.0 cobra glm shift dog

got the new gears, brgs, shim tool, the whole shabang. The new gear set's clutch dog doesn't have any markings on it for which direction to install.. Is this replacement go either way.. I think the book says lettering toward the prop? Anyone else notice this?

In my own inexpert opinion, i don't think it matters.

I know people who turned them around so it don't slip out in forward.

Face it how fast your go in reverse.

You have the new one install it ether way.
