3.0 harmonic balancer

I am rebuilding my 3.0, and have a question about the harmonic balancer. All the rubber is in good shape but the pulley is not flat with the centerpiece. Looking at it from the back one side is flush and the other is about 1/16th offset to the front. Is this normal or is my balancer damaged?

Did it wobble when running? If so I'd say it's shot. It should be square with the center hub.

I don't remember it wobbling but I don't thing I payed much attention to it. I noticed it after I pulled it from the engine.

Put it on and run the engine. If it wobbles, take it off and put a new one on...

what year is the engine?

If pre-1990, it's only $100 or so.. not worth taking a chance

there was a NOS one on ebay a while ago new in box for $40- it got no bids.

If post 1990, a bit more dear ($185 online) and warrant further evaluation, but still much easier to change it now and forget about it.
