Boat ran fine yesterday on water, when I went up to get trailer wife drove it around the cove (no wake). Engine stalled on her. She doesn't really know how to start it (engage throttle only button etc) so she cranked on it a while before I yelled across the water to engage throttle. Finally started, running a little rough. When she pulled up on trailer I got back in and took a couple minutes of trying to start. Once it started it did fine. I let it idle then turned it off. Then started it right back up with no problems.
My question is, is it likely my wife flooded it by cranking on it so long...thus making it hard to start when I got back in?
Carb was rebuilt 10 hours ago and has started and ran like a champ since
I think it just stalled on her (for some unknown reason) and would have started right back up but she didn't know how.
Is this plausible? It was getting dark last night when this happened so I didn't have time to troubleshoot
